Water Team Leader
We are currently recruiting for Water Team Leaders to support our key framework clients in Central Scotland.

Job Purpose: The Water Team Leader is accountable to deliver Water Projects in a safe manner, on time and to the required quality standards.
Person Specification
The Water Team Leader is accountable to deliver Water Projects in a safe manner, on time and to the required quality standards. Typically, this could involve overseeing a 2–3-man team on various types of Water projects from Bypasses to Sample Taps.
The individual fulfilling this role should have a proven track record in leading a 2–3-man team on Water projects and also the supervision of subcontractors. The Water Team Leader will maintain regular communication around the key aspects of the project delivery including, Knowledge of DOMS IAF, Risk Assessments and Method Statements, plant/material requirements etc.
The Water Team Leader will support the Site Agent to ensure that productivity is always maintained onsite. They will work collaboratively to set clear expectations around project delivery and ensure that the work force is motivated and on programme. It is a key role of the Water Team Leader to ensure that the site remains productive in the face of adversity/change in circumstances. Completion of site forms with respect to Safety, Quality and DOMS will also form a key accountability.
As the Water Team Leader you will be one of the or the responsible person onsite. All persons working on that site under your stewardship will report to you including subcontractors. It will be your responsibility to lead the workforce ensuring that the companies’ values, and behaviours are being followed. This role may require work away from home and additional overtime and weekends where required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure sites are established/set-up to the correct standards.
- Maintain regular communication with the Site Agent/Site Manager on site progress.
- Ensure that all site forms and procedures are being followed with respect to H&S & Quality.
- Accountable for ensuring that the site always remains productive and efficient.
- Ensure RAMS onsite are relayed to all members of the team and subcontractors through daily briefings.
- Ensure work onsite is to Standards and Specifications required by our clients.
- Promote company policies, values, and initiatives.
- Keep records of work (Diary)
Essential:
- Proven track record in the safe delivery of individual projects
- Knowledge of Water projects and
- Experience in overseeing Subcontractors
- Understanding of DOMS and Water Hygiene Requirements
- Recognize what good looks like from a quality perspective.
Desirable:
- Job specific knowledge & training i.e., water industry knowledge
- Basic understanding of Relevant IT Skills i.e., use of Apps on mobile phones.
- NRSWA Supervisors Card
- Basic understanding of road specifications for reinstatement
Qualifications & Attainments:
- SSSTS
- CSCS Supervisors Card
- First Aid Training (3 Day)
- Full Clean Driving License
- NRSWA Operative Card
