Team Mackenzie Construction Raises £1,205 for Cash for Kids at Charity Bake Sale
On Tuesday 1st April 2026, colleagues across Mackenzie Construction came together for our first charity event of the year, a hugely successful bake sale and raffle, raising an incredible £1,205 for Cash for Kids.
The day was filled with fantastic home‑baked treats, generous ticket sales, and a wide range of raffle prizes. Thanks to the combined total from online donations, the bake sale and raffle entries, the event exceeded all expectations and truly set the bar high for our 2026 fundraising calendar.
Cash for Kids supports children and young people who are affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, or illness, helping to improve the lives of disadvantaged children across local communities. Knowing that our fundraising will make a meaningful difference made the day even more rewarding.
The raffle was a big highlight of the event, with prizes ranging from restaurant vouchers and golf experiences to luxury hampers, tools, and bottles of fizz. Congratulations to all our prize winners, and thank you to everyone who bought tickets and showed their support.
A huge thank you goes to our Mackenzie Construction supply chain, whose generosity made the raffle possible. We are extremely grateful to the following companies and individuals who donated prizes:
EPMS, Speedy Hire, GAP Group, PF Cusak, Caley Group, CDU Supplies, Travis Perkins, Cleveland, Fyfe & McGrouther, Waste King, FTH Hire, VP plc, Resapol, Carrier Rentals, Selwood, YES, Buckhurst, UDS and Comhara.
Your continued support plays a vital role in helping us maximise our fundraising efforts and deliver real impact for our chosen charities.
A final thank you to everyone who baked, donated prizes, bought tickets, and helped organise the event. The enthusiasm and generosity shown once again highlights the strong sense of community across Mackenzie Construction.
With £1,205 raised, our first event of 2026 has been a fantastic success and we’re only just getting started.
