Mackenzie Construction Renews Sponsorship of Washington AFC Panthers for a Third Season
Mackenzie Construction has proudly renewed its sponsorship of Washington AFC Panthers, reaffirming its commitment to supporting young people and grassroots sport within the communities in which it operates.
Following two highly successful seasons, the partnership continues into the 2026/27 season. The renewal comes on the back of another outstanding year for the Panthers, who completed the league season unbeaten and retained the Middlesbrough FC Cup, an exceptional achievement that reflects both talent and dedication across the squad.
Located close to Mackenzie Construction’s Newcastle hub, Washington AFC Panthers remains a club with strong ties to the business, including a personal connection through Newcastle Site Manager Richard Helens, whose son plays for the team.
The continued sponsorship plays a vital role in supporting the team’s development, contributing towards high-quality training facilities, kits, and coaching resources. Access to 4G pitches and professional-standard training gear has helped create an environment where players can thrive and perform at their best.
Andy Dalrymple, Managing Director at Mackenzie Construction, said:
“We are delighted to continue our support of Washington AFC Panthers for a third season. Seeing the team go from strength to strength is something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.
At Mackenzie Construction, we believe in investing in future talent, whether that’s within our workforce or in the communities around us. The Panthers embody hard work, teamwork and ambition, values that closely align with our own.”
Washington AFC Panthers Coach, Dan Clark, added:
“We’re absolutely thrilled that Mackenzie Construction has chosen to continue its support for a third year. Their backing has made a huge difference to the lads, not only in terms of facilities and equipment, but also in giving them a sense of pride and professionalism.
Going unbeaten in the league and retaining the Middlesbrough FC Cup was a fantastic achievement, and the support from Mackenzie has played a big part in that success. We’re excited to keep building on this momentum and continue representing the company with pride.”
The renewed partnership highlights Mackenzie Construction’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact beyond its core operations, supporting the next generation in reaching their full potential both on and off the pitch.
