Mackenzie Construction has once again demonstrated our commitment to training and development and industry excellence through the introduction of a one-day Basic Levelling Course focused on our Trainee Engineers.
The one-day training course covered the fundamental principles of levelling and provided attendees with hands-on experience in core techniques. Recognising the varying levels of experience Mackenzie Construction decided to carry out four sessions in December for differing skill levels in the company: new Trainees, 2nd year Trainees, 3rd & 4th year Trainees and experienced Engineers.
The course’s practical components included a variety of exercises designed to replicate real-world scenarios faced on construction sites. This initiative highlights Mackenzie Construction’s proactive approach to addressing skills gaps while empowering employees with tools to excel in their roles.
Our dedication to training and development is a core part of the Mackenzie Construction ethos. By continuously upskilling our employees, the company ensures a robust and knowledgeable workforce capable of delivering high-quality projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, precision, and efficiency.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Gail McEwen and Saffron Grant from Setting Out for Construction for creating and leading these courses with our employees.
