Dirrans Athletic AFC Preseason Tournament Sponsorship
Mackenzie Construction is proud to support a number of community initiatives across Scotland as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. The focus of this strategy is to support the local communities in which we live and work.
We were delighted to sponsor the 18th annual Donnie McManus Trophy – a preseason tournament hosted by Dirrans Athletic AFC at Kilwinning Sports Club. The competition comprises of 8 adult amateur football clubs from Ayrshire who play against each other in a knockout format.
The tournament commenced in July and finished on Friday 2nd August, with the final being played between Mauchline AFC and Beith AFC. Mauchline AFC took home the trophy after a 2-1 win, in a tightly contested final.
The Plate was won by Calderglen who defeated Irvine Thistle 2-1.
The tournament has become a massive part of the amateur football pre-season schedule in Ayrshire and Mackenzie Construction were delighted to contribute to its success this year.
