Mackenzie Construction has once again achieved success in the ISO audit conducted by LRQA.

This audit is based on the latest quality and safety, standards and environmental policies; ISO45001:2018, ISO14001:2015, ISO9001:2015 and SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). The LRQA (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance) is the world’s leading provider of independent assessment services including certification, validation, verification and training across a broad spectrum of standards and schemes.

Mackenzie Construction’s rigorous commitment to safety is demonstrated through our achievement of industry awards, accreditations and qualifications and feedback from clients who trust us in this area.

Our health and safety systems are accredited to ISO45001:2018 standards, and we have been awarded the RoSPA Order of Distinction for 16 consecutive years. ISO45001:2018 is recognised as an international standard for health and safety at work developed by national and international standards committees independent of government.

We operate in a diverse range of locations and environments and are committed to minimising disruption and harm to local ecosystems. We undertake in-depth surveys of the areas in which we work to assess the impact and ensure where there is risk that measures are put in place to protect birds, animals, fish, trees and plants. Mackenzie Construction’s commitment to the environment is underlined by the development and maintenance of our Environmental Management System (EMS). Our EMS and approach to environmental issues has been assessed, evaluated and accredited with LRQA to ISO14001:2015, the internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems (EMS). By adhering to this standard, Mackenzie Construction is taking proactive measures to minimize our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve our environmental objectives.

Mackenzie Construction has a steadfast belief in achieving the highest level of quality and delivering best practice through our products and services to the best possible standards. We have established Quality Management Systems and robust reporting practices in place to ensure our strong track record is maintained. The quality of our works is managed by the processes and systems laid down in our Quality Management System, which is Lloyds Registered to ISO9001:2015. ISO9001:2015 is a globally recognized standard for quality management, helping organisations improve performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality. These procedures are utilised to Plan, Manage, Resource and Monitor all aspects of Mackenzie Construction’s works to deliver a ‘right first time’ regime, and through the application of these processes, we can monitor and demonstrate continuous performance improvement with all our clients.

The auditor reviewed the internal practices and processes Mackenzie Construction follow and highlighted the competency and best practice the company adheres to. The audit confirmed there were nil major non-conformities, nil minor non-conformities and nil opportunities for improvements.

Mackenzie Construction is proud to have been recognised by leading industry bodies for our commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
