      Finniston and Sawmills, Glasgow

Mackenzie Construction have recently completed the refurbishment works on both the Finnieston and Sawmills Overpasses on the Clydeside Expressway ( A814 ) on behalf of Glasgow City Council.

The £1.2M works at Sawmills Overpass involved the removal of the existing surfacing, together with the installation of a new waterproofing system and road construction in both carriageways.

Finnieston Overpasses works comprised the strengthening of existing westbound concrete parapet upstand together with the installation of a new parapet railing, deck water proofing system and surfacing construction.

In association with the above work substantial traffic management was required to enable the works to proceed with very little disruption to the flow of traffic.
