The construction of a 102 space car park within the grounds of Yorkhill Royal Hospital for Sick Children valued at £194,000 is now complete and is helping our Client, Yorkhill NHS Trust in addressing the obvious parking issues associated with a large city centre hospital. The car park was formed within the hospital grounds and the area adjacent and surrounding the car park remained operational throughout.
The works involved taking the site through from initial soil strip to white lining and security lighting. The only available site for the new car park was on a steeply sloping embankment which involved the importation of substantial volumes of fill prior to the main construction commencing.
